Vision Team

Nidhi Lahoti Co-Director/Vision Lahoti.10@osu.edu	The Co-Director of Vision is responsible for overseeing all Vision Departments, providing direction, and assisting in problem-solving. They also must be able to help complete any tasks necessary.
Vince Frascello & Erin Ferlet Greek Life Liaisons frascello.1@osu.edu and ferlet.1@osu.edu	The Greek Life Liaison communicates information to the Greek Community and works to actively engage them in BuckeyeThon 2009. The liaison should be an active member of his/her chapter and/or one of the governing councils.
Megan Riffee Campus Outreach riffee.3@osu.edu	The Campus Outreach Chair will work to involve the University more actively with BuckeyeThon. The constituencies that this chair will be responsible for include, but are not limited to: the Athletics Department, Graduate and Professional students, Student Governments, Academic Departments, and Branch Campuses.
Ashley Carter Marketing carter.701@osu.edu	The Marketing Committee is in charge of raising awareness of BuckeyeThon in the Ohio State and Columbus communities. They are in charge of all the publicity for BuckeyeThon including posting flyers in CABS, around campus, and in newspapers. They create a PowerPoint presentation to present the main ideas of BuckeyeThon to different student organizations. They are also in charge of the highlight video and slide show that are shown at the end of BuckeyeThon 2009.
Shannon Conneely Hospital Relations conneely.2@osu.edu	The Nationwide Children's Hospital Committee works as a liaison between the hospital and BuckeyeThon. This part of production has responsibility for the Letter Writing Campaign, organizing volunteer opportunities at the hospital, and, overall, establishing a better relationship with families of Nationwide Children's Hospital. At the event, he or she is responsible for planning family events, creating a family area, and introductions of all hospital families during BuckeyeThon.
James Fitzgibbon Special Promotions fitzgibbon.13@osu.edu	This committee coordinates all special events relating to BuckeyeThon including BuckeyeThon Week and other events to publicize BuckeyeThon. Also, they assist the Entertainment Committee in finding special celebrity guests and coordinate the silent auction and fun raffles for BuckeyeThon 2009.
Jaclyn Peters Residence Hall Liaison peters.394@osu.edu	Like the Greek Liaisons, the Residence Hall liaison communicates with the students who reside on campus. The liaison should have good contacts with the hall councils and/or RAs.
Sarah Baran Fundraising baran.18@osu.edu	The Fundraising Chair is responsible for organizing restaurant fundraisers, canning dates, and other opportunities for dancers to raise money for BuckeyeThon. He or she will develop a fundraising packet for dancers to explain the many fundraising opportunities we offer. This position also has the responsibility of securing, organizing and tracking Silent Auction donations for the Benefit Dinner in January.

The Dancer Recruitment Committee is responsible for recruiting dancers through informational sessions, collaboration with student organizations, and other promotional events.

Maggie Barrett Alumni and Community Relations barrett.621@osu.edu

The Alumni and Community Relations Chair will act as a liaison between these special constituencies of BuckeyeThon supporters. This position will work to establish Mini-Dance Marathons at local high schools. He or she will also reach out to garner more community support for BuckeyeThon. Alumni relations will include working with a newly formed Alumni group, keeping alumni informed of fundraising and sponsorship opportunities, and designing ways to involve alumni in BuckeyeThon. This position will also work with the Alumni Association to track and inform BuckeyeThon Alumni.

Production Team

Jenny Swaim Co-Director/Production swaim.5@osu.edu	The Co-Director of Production is responsible for overseeing all Production Departments, providing direction, and assisting in problem-solving. They also must be able to help complete any tasks necessary.
Allison Cochran Dancer Relations cochran.228@osu.edu	This position is in charge of all the materials, logistics, and retention of dancers for BuckeyeThon 2009. They handle all dancer registration and aid the dancers during BuckeyeThon. They also host dancer meetings prior to BuckeyeThon 2009 to prepare them for the exciting 14-hour Marathon!
Megan Langhenry Morale Captain langhenry.2@osu.edu	The energetic and enthusiastic Morale committee of BuckeyeThon will keep you on your feet dancing for the entire 14 hours! It is composed of 14 Morale Captains who have been carefully chosen by members of the Steering Committee. The Morale Captains lead exciting activities for the participants of BuckeyeThon throughout the event. They have planned several theme hours that incorporate different dances, games and activities. They also work with the volunteer moralers.
Pete Ford Finance viperchief@gmail.com	The Finance Committee's primary goal is to create a budget for BuckeyeThon. They also track BuckeyeThon's internal expenses as well as the money raised for Nationwide Children's Hospital through canning, fundraising, and donations. This committee is also responsible for money requests from campus organizations.
Mark Torrez Sponsorships torrez.4@osu.edu	The Sponsorships Chair works with Children’s Hospital Relations on corporate sponsorships beginning Spring quarter. He or she will keep an organized record of sponsors and their sponsorship benefits throughout the year, as well as collect sponsors’ logos in the appropriate format. This position also has the responsibility of creating a sponsor packet and presenting to potential donors.
Josh Carter Operations & Logistics carter.661@osu.edu	The Operations/Logistics Committee is responsible for most of the logistics of BuckeyeThon and all related events. They develop strong relationships with the site administrators and the other various committee chairs to ensure that the event is well-coordinated.
Vicki Bouttavong Entertainment bouttavong.1@osu.edu	During Buckeyethon 2009, the motivation for the dancers is the kids. What keeps that motivation level sky high during the 14 hour marathon is the entertainment! This committee undertakes the task of coordinating all entertainment for the event. They have the responsibility of organizing the bands, DJs, and groups that will perform at Buckeyethon and making those 14 hours fun-filled. The diverse acts that will appear on the stage will make the event memorable and make Buckeyethon 2009 a true showcase of talent from all the groups who so charitably help this "Party with a Purpose."
Swati Bhanja Catering bhanja.1@osu.edu	Catering is responsible for solicitation of local resturants, catering companies and food related stores to provide food donations for BuckeyeThon. The catering chair also works on food for other BuckeyeThon events.
