Carter D.

Carter is a very sweet kid. He is polite and caring towards everyone that he meets. He is very easy-going, and very easy to have conversations with. He seems very mature for his age, but he still loves to run around and have fun, just like and other young boy.

Siblings Names: Chloe, Carrie, Corrine, Camila, Cason, and Cate

Parents Names: Brian and Julie

Callie Buck, former Inspiration Coordinator, says, “Carter and his family are some of kindest people I have ever met. At Carter's first DM in 2015, he was a little bit reserved and overwhelmed. But he quickly warmed up to the dancers and he was having so much fun running around and dancing. At the face painting station, Carter had so much fun and stayed there for hours. He was making everyone laugh by drawing all over dancers' arms and faces and making sure that it would take them a long time to get the mess off. It was awesome to see a child who has gone through so much in his young life get to relax and forget about his disease, and have so much fun while doing it.
