Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt
BuckeyeThon is hosting our annual Scavenger Hunt around Columbus! The Scavenger Hunt will be open from 10am-6pm on Sunday, March 6th. The Columbus community does a great job of supporting our efforts in Making Miracles at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, so we wanted an event that showcased more of the city!
With the help of various businesses around Columbus, we created a 12-stop Scavenger Hunt that can be completed totally virtually or in a hybrid format.

How to participate
To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, you will need to open the Microsoft Form attached above (form will be released 3/6 at 10am). The form will present you with a clue that you must solve to “find” your location.
Virtual format:
You will be given clues that you will use to “find” each location, but you will not be required to go to each location.
At each location, the item you “collect” for the scavenger hunt will be part of a “grand finale” item at the end of the form – so every piece will help you put it together.
Every “stop” on the Scavenger Hunt must be completed and the form submitted in order to receive a prize for participation. To be entered into the drawing for a larger prize, the form AND the “grand finale” must be completed.
Hybrid format:
If you are interested in sight-seeing in Columbus by visiting the stops, you will actually go to the location you find! All of the locations are conveniently located along the COTA bus route- so all interested participants will have the ability to explore the city!
If you choose to do this, you will need the HYBRID Scavenger Hunt form, and you will be eligible for a different prize!
At each location, either a challenge or an item to collect will be listed on the form.
Every “stop” on the Scavenger Hunt must be completed and the form submitted in order to receive a prize for participation and an entry into a drawing for a larger prize.
Check back for more specifics. The website will be updated as details are finalized.
