Scavenger Hunt

BuckeyeThon’s Columbus Scavenger Hunt

BuckeyeThon is hosting our first-ever Scavenger Hunt around Columbus!  The Scavenger Hunt will be open from 10am-6pm on February 23rd. The Columbus community does a great job of supporting our efforts in fundraising For The Kids at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, so we wanted an event that showcased more of the city!

With the help of our BuckeyeThon Miracle Families, we created a 12-stop Scavenger Hunt that can be completed totally virtually or in a hybrid format.

Scavenger Hunt Form:

How to participate

To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, you will need to open the Microsoft Form attached above (form will be released 2/23 at 10am).  The form will present you with a clue that you must solve to “find” your location.

Once you solve the puzzle to “find” your location, you will be directed to a page that provides you with a video from one of our BuckeyeThon kids about why this location is important!

Virtual format:

Once you watch the video from our Miracle Family, you can go on to solving the clue for your next location!

At each location, the item you “collect” for the scavenger hunt will be part of a “grand finale” item at the end of the form – so every piece will help you put it  together.

Every “stop” on the Scavenger Hunt must be completed and the form submitted in order to receive a prize for participation. To be entered into the drawing for a larger prize, the form AND the “grand finale” must be completed.

Hybrid format:

If you are interested in sight-seeing in Columbus by visiting the stops, you will actually go to the location you find!

If you choose to do this, you will need the HYBRID Scavenger Hunt form, and you will be eligible for a different prize!

At each location, the item you “collect” will be a selfie of yourself with the outside of the location.  **You are NOT required to enter the location for this.**

Every “stop” on the Scavenger Hunt must be completed and the form submitted in order to receive a prize for participation. For every location selfie you submit (in addition to completing the basic form), you will get 1 entry into a drawing for a larger prize (5 selfies = 5 entries).
