Félix oversees and directs student philanthropy initiatives for the university, including advising BuckeyeThon. Félix began his career at Ohio State in 2000 as Director of Student Programs for the Alumni Association and later served as Associate Director for the Student Life Multicultural Center. Félix transitioned to Student Philanthropy in 2012 and became Director in 2016. In 2022, Félix defended his dissertation, titled "Education for Citizenship: A Study of the Effects of Cocurricular Student Philanthropy Education on Prosocial Behavior." and received his PhD from Antioch University.
